Five hundred years ago the Ampato Ice Maiden was a young woman whose destiny was to be sacrificed to the gods. For centuries she lay forgotten. Then in 1995 she was found and once again has become renowned and honored. Now the Llullaillaco mummies were sharing a smilar destiny.
